Everyone’s talking about ‘success’ but what does that mean? Do we all have to desire riches and fame? What does each of us really want and how are we going to get it? This will be a thrilling musical, with sad bits and funny bits, that examines the concept of ‘Ambition’, and gets its participants to have a good look at what that means for them. We’ll follow stories of characters with big and small ambitions and see where they go. We’ll find out how ambition helps you, and how it gets you down. And we’ll celebrate what’s good about ambition, and mock what’s bad. Before you arrive, have a think about your own aspirations. What are your short-term ambitions? (eg. Get out of bed, be nicer to the dog….) What are your long-term ambitions? (eg. Invent a recipe for happiness, marry Prince William….) Write them down and bring them along. And we’ll achieve one ambition: to be in a fantastic show!
