'In my song I dream of you and me,
I'm the dream I dream myself to be,
Can I take the all in all of me?
Can I let myself and you be free?'

"Our intention is to create a visually stunning, emotionally stirring and profoundly imaginative and uplifting piece of theatre that works to the highest artistic standards.

What we do best as a creative team is to create authentic, passionate theatre. We all have years of experience in improvisation and devising and finding form for people’s creativity. We are artists who like to experiment, so we are looking for young artists who are open and eager and willing to challenge themselves in new areas of performance. We guarantee you will find yourself doing things you could never have imagined…or dreamed.

Lots of ideas for ‘Rare Dreams’ are flying around between us and Sonum is already working on some music and songs. In this project you can expect to be amazingly stretched as a singer, actor, dancer, musician, writer or poet. And the way we work creates an atmosphere of trust and safety as well as fun and joy. It’s an incredible adventure for us all and we are looking forward to it already."

Other important information:

Travel information:

By air:

Bristol International Airport is 15 miles from Bath which is the nearest city to Downside. For travel to Bath from Bristol International Airport the Bristol Airport Flyer express Coach Service picks up passengers outside the airport every 30 minutes, from 06.00 - 23.45, 7 days a week. The bus then drops passengers at Bristol Temple Meads Station, where you can catch one of the many frequent train services into Bath (journey time approximately 15 minutes).

For travel to Bath from Gatwick Airport or Heathrow Airport, a regular coach service runs from Gatwick via Heathrow to the train station at Reading, where you can pick up a direct train to Bath. Alternatively, an express train service from both airports goes direct to central London, where you can use the Underground to travel to Paddington Station and then catch a direct train to Bath.

By train:

From London and the South the most convenient railway station is Bath, which is twenty minutes' taxi journey from the School . From the North, Midlands and West, visitors should use Bristol Temple Meads station, which is half an hour from Downside.

By car:

Take junction 18 of the M4 motorway for Bath. From Bath, follow the A367 to Radstock: a distance of about nine miles. At the double mini-roundabouts in Radstock, continue straight ahead up the hill, along the A367 signposted Exeter, passing Radco on your right.

Follow the road for a mile and a half.  At the roundabout at St. Benedict's School, take the second exit, passing St. Benedict's School on your left.

After about a mile, you will pass the White Post public house on your right.  Take the second exit at the roundabout, signposted Stratton-on-the-Fosse.

You will see the School on your right as you pass through the village.
