Oliver studied piano with Bryce Morrison, graduating with Honours and winning the Westminster Prize in his final year.   He was also runner up in the Contemporary Music Prize and was awarded Special Commendations by Artur Pizarro and Cecille Ousset in consecutive years at Masterclasses at the Purcell Room, South Bank.

Oliver performs all over England as a concert accompanist.   Recently he performed a recital with the Wissam Boustany at St Georges in Penzance and was the pianist on his summer school.   Oliver also accompanies at the Junior Guildhall and at the London College of Music and Media.

Oliver has MD'd numerous shows, highligts include Sweeney Todd (Questors Theatre), Return to the Forbidden Planet (Upstairs at the Gatehouse) and
Company (Parkshot Theatre).   

A member of staff at Arts Educational School, he was MD for their production of Spend, Spend, Spend in May 2004.  He also works for Mountview School, and will MD 3 musicals for them over the summe 2004.

Oliver has also produced a CD of the Goldberg Variations for Warner Classics, now into its second pressing after making an appearance in the classical charts.
