Emma is a professional actress and puppeteer, who started her career in the NYMT’s workshop production of Pendragon. After a BA Hons from the University of Sheffield, her work has included West End and International Theatre, as well as award winning television. She first discovered puppetry at Nottingham Playhouse in 2003 and developed her skills at The Scoop and the National Theatre.
Her work in theatre includes His Dark Materials for the Royal National Theatre, Androcles and the Lion and Agamemnon for The Scoop London, The Gruffalo on US tour, Zagazoo at the Nottingham Playhouse, Around the World in Eighty Days at the Liverpool Playhouse, Yvonne Arnaud and Richmond Theatre, The Island of First Loves and Pandemonium – A Greek Myth Adventure for C venues, Our Thing at The Gate, Pulling Together at The Latchmere, Animal Farm, Oedipus the King, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Yoho and Kips War for Leicester Haymarket.
Emma’s radio work includes Dr Who – Creatures of Beauty. On TV, she was a regular character in both series of the BBC Bafta winning comedy The Office. When not acting, she can often be found surfing the Cornish waves!
