Eddie is a Freelance Director, Composer and Choreographer, specialising in new musicals for young people. He is an Associate Director of the highly acclaimed Oldham Theatre Workshop.

Directing credits for Oldham Theatre Workshop include: Urban Fairytale (Grange Arts Theatre), Christmas, The Greatest Show on Earth (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Eyam (Grange Arts Theatre), Tis' Written in the Stars (Grange Arts Centre) and The Holly Scroggler (The Studio), all of which were original pieces..

Eddie has been working with YMT for 5 years and has directed up to ten of our Studios and Outreach Projects, where credits have included: Aberfan (Studio Edinburgh), Hole in the Wall (Studio Belfast), The Home Children (Studio Salisbury), Me (Belfast), A Woman's Voice(Studio Warwick), The Steeple(Studio Bath), Terminal Fever (Studio Ascot), Click Take A Picture (Studio Bath), Star People (Studio Tonbridge Wells). He was also the director of YMT’s Christmas Concert, Let It Snow Again.

Other organisations that Eddie has worked for include the Central School of Speech and Drama, the Shakespeare Schools Festival, Mousetrap Theatre Projects and Greenwich Theatre.

Although he works primarily in theatre, Eddie has also worked with the BBC as an assistant director.

As a huge fan of the residential environment, he firmly believes that the ambiance lends itself to unique creativity and enthusiasm, two of the important ingredients required to produce new and exciting work.
