For hundreds of thousands of people commuting into London, the morning of July 7, 2005 began just like any other.  No one could ever have imagined what was to unfold that day – a terrifying scene of chaos, panic, destruction and total devastation.

During the city’s rush hour, three suicide bombers launched a deadly attack, detonating a series of explosives on two crowded underground trains and a bus, killing 52 people and injuring over 700.  Who were these people?  What are their stories?  How did Britain deal with the aftermath and who was behind it all?

Studio Ascot is a unique opportunity for young actors to create a gritty, hard-hitting piece of musical theatre as Director Richard Batty and Musical Director Shane McVicker take a good hard look at the tragic events of 7/7.
