Jodie is originally from Edinburgh and is in her final year studying music at Edinburgh Uni. She hopes to pursue a career in musical theatre. She is the singing teacher/musical director for MGA Stage Academies, Stagecoach Edinburgh North, and the Millennium Stage School.

Credits as MD include Babes in the Wood (Bathgate panto), Honk!(Edinburgh University Savoy Opera), No Stone Unturned(YMT:UK), I love you, you’re perfect, now change (Hotbox productions), Honk! (Hotbox productions) and many stage school / showcase productions.

As AMD/pianist: Closer than Ever (Jermyn Street Theatre; Wimbledon Studio; Edinburgh Fringe 06), Inside Cherry Pitz (Fringe 06), Carousel (George Heriot’s School), Goblin Market (YMT:UK).

Other shows include The Dreaming (NYMT), Nos Vies En Rose (NYMT), Oklahoma! (NYMT), 3hree! (formerly Music Theatre Scotland) Guys and Dolls (Edinburgh Uni Footlights) and she has played in too many to remember!

At uni she participates in Music in the Community programmes, teaching in a children’s hospital and nursery, as well as taking part in music therapy programmes in Bosnia and Croatia.

She is a busy accompanist in and around Edinburgh and regularly plays for rehearsals, in concerts, shows and cabaret bars.
